Did you know that Viables Community Association is a charity? Most people believe we are a council run building/organisation but we actually:

Fund ourselves through activities, services and hall hires

Create events and activities that will help us raise funds

Create opportunities for volunteers who would like to get involved, gain some experience, or use their skills to support others or their community

Have a small but valuable team of staff

Receive no funding from the council or government to run the building/organisation

Have a membership scheme - you become a member, pay an interest in some of the decisions our wonderful Trustees propose and make, and gain discount to hall hire and some events as a result!
